According to the Beryl Institute, patient experience is defined as “the sum of all interactions, shaped by an organization’s culture, that influence patient perceptions across the continuum of care.”

Healthcare leaders recognize the power in a positive experience not only affects the patients and their families, but the financial, marketing, and clinical aspects of their environment such as safety scores, health outcomes, public perception, reputation, job satisfaction, and the bottom line.

What is the driving force for this outstanding, positive experience? Top talent! As talent management continues to be a key focus area to improving patient care, developing the right talent development strategies is crucial to cultivating a person-centered caring environment.

Talent and The Patient Experience – A Roundtable Lunch for Healthcare Leaders is invitation-only and limited to thirty five hospital and healthcare professionals in the Greater New York City area. Roundtable members will benefit from a highly interactive format that allows every leader to exchange knowledge, perspectives, and experiences on best practices while networking over a two hour lunch.

We will review the following questions:

  • How are your talent strategies impacting overall patient care and experience?
  • How can you increase engagement between your front-line staff and patients?
  • What are some best practices to create a person-centered caring environment?
  • How can your organization create talent recognition programs?
  • What strategies can you introduce to your staff so they may shift their focus to deliver top quality care?
  • How can your team create a sustainable culture and community of caring?
